Zain Ahmed Usmani

Zain is a Ph.D. student at Clemson University and a researcher at the LINS Lab. He studied computer science along with social development and policy at Habib University in Karachi, Pakistan.
His research interests lie in using computational social science to explore questions around how sustainable development can be achieved while respecting local cultures and natural dynamics. Currently, he is working on designing agent-based models to study the social dynamics that emerge due to different water distribution policies. Outside of research, he enjoys studying languages, cycling, and cooking.
