Ph.D. Student

Farhan Ul Haq Mir

Before joining Clemson University, Farhan earned an M.Tech. in Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from the Islamic University of Science and Technology in Kashmir, India. His master’s research investigated how daily rainfall characteristics influence surface soil-moisture variability.

At Clemson, he explores human–water systems and the complex interactions among society, infrastructure, and water resources. Outside of research, he enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors.
